We all have a go-to pattern. Something you love working up every time. The thing you like to give as a gift. The pattern you use to picture how all the pretty yarn you see will work up. Maybe you have a go-to pattern for different things – your favorite hat pattern, favorite scarf, favorite market tote. Well, this is my favorite, go-to blanket pattern, and I just know it’s going to be yours, too!

NOTES
– You can use as few or as many colors as you want for this blanket, and you can arrange them any way you want. For the purpose of the pattern, I’m using 3 colors in a traditional color block arrangement.
– The ch 1 at the beginning of each row will not count as a stitch.
– You can adjust the pattern width by using an odd number for your starting FSC. To adjust the pattern length, simply crochet more/less rows as needed based on the gauge. If you are using multiple colors, you’ll want to figure out how many rows you’ll need to crochet to reach your desired length, based on the gauge, and then divide that number of rows by the number of colors you have to see how many rows of each color you need to get even color blocks. (For example, if you want a 48 inch long blanket, you need to crochet 120 rows based on the pattern gauge. If you are using 3 colors, you’d need to do 40 rows of each color to get even color blocks.)
