These are a great choice for teacher gifts, too. You can print out a cute cup-shaped insert on cardstock to put inside the cozy, tuck in a gift card to the teacher’s favorite coffee shop, and put it in a cute bag.

I use acrylic yarn for my cozies, and I’ve never had any issues doing so. Acrylic dries just fine and you can throw it in the washer if you drip some coffee on your favorite cozy. It’s a great way to use up scraps you have lying around. If you prefer to use cotton, go for it!
